On tap at Barcade. Really enjoyed this one. Aroma of burnt toast, rye, and sllight coffee. Pours black and thin with a small dusty head. Taste is exactly like those hard burnt sourdough Amish pretzels. Roast mouthfeel and kind of dry. Very unique. I like it. AirForceHops (7239) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - JAN 26, 2014
Draft at Barcade, Philadelphia. Thick tan head sits on the stout and laced the sides as I drank. Deep roasted malts filled the air as I inhaled. Crazy amounts of roasted barley and malt. Flavor of cocoa, deep barley, roasted grain, semi sweet chocolate with a light oak in the finish. I really enjoyed sipping this because the 10% was nowhere to be found. I had to remind myself to sip. This is without a doubt the best beer from this brewery. Nice. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 2, 2014
Draft at Baggataway. Pours black with one finger of diminishing mocha head and rings of soapy lace. Nose of chocolate, roast, caramel. Medium body, slightly creamy, some carbonic notes. callmemickey (4543) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Dark black-brown body, medium khaki head, spotty lacing. Assertive chocolate, some roast, and oak. Medium to full bodied, moderate carbonation, lingering roasted finish. Straightforward and pleasant. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2013
This one poiured a medium brown color with a beige head. Aroma was lots of anise, black patent, and light alcoholc. Flavor was fairly roasted, light dark chocolate, and some booze. A pretty good impy, and very impressive from this brewer.

Recommended to me by Matt Capone, it was a pleasant surprise. Lots of character, well balanced, full flavored, nice finish. What more can I sday. A very pleasant beer from Philadelphia. Art (3217) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 23, 2013

Bottle pour into snifter..no idea when this was bottled but labeled vintage on side of bottle..dark black color..little to no head as expected..nose is very enjoyable..chocolate..cocoa..bourbon notes..wood..oak..hint of coffee and vanilla..really liking everything about the aroma..mouthfeel/palate is smooth..not hot and hides the abv very well..however it was a bit thinner than expected and the nose dominated the rest of the experience..like the bottle..like the Indian..and will definitely seek this out again in the future..good local imperial stout..solid nightcap..well done.. closey22 (1946) - Mt. Opaque black as night; thick foamy tan head looks so beautiful; flavor is so rich with hints of licorice; the alcohol comes through as we’ll as some acidicness; aroma has hints of chocolate; finishes dry toasty yummy
