COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The famous American poet Walt Whitman once described a particular Philadelphia sunset as consisting of, "...a broad tumble of clouds, with much golden haze and profusion of beaming shaft and dazzle." Sounds remarkably similar to our fragrant, satisfying take on the traditional Belgian white ale. Walt Wit's citrus and spice flavors deliver a transcendental drinking experience. Walt Wit is brewed with only a whisper of hops and a hint of herbs to set off the flavor of white wheat and oats.

Wheaty throughout with some citrus notes. Very light beer and in the glass was nearly translucent. No cloudiness whatsoever. Case purchased at the brewery.

BB backlog, bottle shared with Pat, pours an ultra hazy golden shade with average head. Notes are heavy handed on the spice, coriander, clove, orange peel, herbs, and other sweet belgian fruit notes. Body is really thin and lacking.

Coriander, bread crust nose. Hazy amber, thin head. Bread and coriander. Medium body, easy carbonation. Light on the citrus notes I often expect in a wit.

Has an opaque yellow, light spice. Similar on the palate, ok dryish malts. Basic wit, but well made.

Pours cloudy light orange with a thin white head with just a little lacing. Aroma is of citrus, wheat, cloves, orange peel, and some corriander. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi creamy, medium finish. Overall, a decent witbier that is very refreshing on a hot summer day.

Thanks to Strykezone for sharing this one - pours hazy light yellow with a white head. The aroma has powder, wheat, mush and a bit of orange. It has a medium / light body thats pretty thin and has mild carbonation. The flavor starts off with orange, astringency, metallic notes, salt and mild wheat. The finish is medicinal and has some peppery spice. Fair wit.

Sampled at Gregs tasting. Hazed white gold with just a little foam. A little orange zest here and it brngs bitterness. That leads almost everything. Wheat notes are really kind of muddled. That speaks for most of this one. Maybe this is old taste.
