Rating #2668 - 2016.06.30 - This was a tear-through day of a bunch of old bottles. Pours a darker brown, that produces a bubbly foam. Aroma is oak, bourbon/vanilla notes, lots of nutmeg and cinnamon, caramel malt. Taste is malty, lots of sweet and grainy notes, and a heavy fleshy pumpkin flavour. AgentAle (1819) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 9, 2016
Aroma is cinnamon, all spice, brown sugar and light sulphur. Taste is spicey sweet flavors. Meduim rich malts with caramel and toffe. Very light tartiness that is balanced very well. Appearance is a clear gold with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well. Brettsky06 (530) - Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 21, 2016
Pours a clear orange color. Aroma is light with some pumpkin and spice. Flavour is strong with vanilla. Hint of bourbon. Little bit of pumpkin and spice as well. Really good beer Oakes (19045) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 15, 2016

Amber, with a slight haze. No head - that’s disappointing. This beer would look a lot better with a nice head on it. Malty opening, cinnamon, with a splash of alcohol in the finish. The malts have a bit of caramel to them. There is a mellow hop character. Not a whole lot going on - I’m not catching any barrel and other than the alcohol nothing that distinguishes this from any other middle-of-the-road pumpkin beer. I don’t mind it, but I won’t remember it.

Consummation: Boozy pumpkin spiced ale.
Adjunct: Nutmeg and orange and rum and cherry; clear amber with lots of effervescence, a moderate white head with very little retention
I aged this thinking this was old be better with a nap but going guess I was wrong. It does have a nice pumpkin pie flavors with cinnamon and nutmeg. The taste really doesn’t linger and has a weird sugary cola with the carbonation aftertaste. UXO (1922) - CANADA - NOV 2, 2015
Appearance: clear medium amber, one fat finger of creamy light tan head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, patchy lacing. (3/5) Aroma: vegetal pumpkin and spices, bourbon, vanilla, citrus, woody. (8/10) Taste: moderate sweet, mild bitter, light tart. (8/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, short duration mildly warming finish. (4/5) cfrancis (3588) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 31, 2015
Oh yeah, that works - think pumpkin pie, with bourbon sauce. For me, this is pretty much the holy grail of pumpkin beers: a pumpkin beer that I like, without qualification. I would drink this without complaint, any time. Somewhat more intense pumpkin and spices than its little brother, but the big difference is the depth of flavour imparted by the bourbon barrel aging. Thanks to Reimer for this. Pours a foggy orange amber with a small white top and good lacing. Aroma is light pumpkin spice and sweet bourbon but not very strong. Taste is a light amber beer, light malt with again light pumpkin spice and then there is a sweetness from the barrel aging that comes in with a small warming from the alcohol. This did sit in my basement for a year. I don’t know if it helped but this comes off very soft and delicate which is odd for a pumpkin beer. The spice builds as the beer goes on. dchmela (3085) - Orlando, Florida, USA - OCT 15, 2015
Thanks to Steve for the bottle! Pours a dark gold orange with a wispy head. Pumpkin spice and vanilla barrel notes in the aroma. Nice medium body with lots of vanilla notes, bourbon and spice in the taste. Not great, but a decent brew. northropfrye (3712) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - OCT 2, 2015
Orange body white head. Nice pumpkin spice aroma. Cinnamon and nutmeg. Taste is more subtle again with the pumpkin spice and a Taste of actual pumpkin, honey, a touch of booze, some
