Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy pale orange with a tight white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is strong pine with citrus, grass and toffee. Light sweet start with a big grapefruit bitterness to follow. Medium slick mouth with a long crisp dry finish. Excellent. Metalchopz (3474) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 2, 2014
Originally rated March 2013. Nice to see the LCBO getting some West Coast IPAs (as this one and the one I tried last night from Green Flash). Pours a rich golden colour with a foamy-creamy head that has good retention and decent lacing. Nice fresh grassy hop aromas, but not just Cascades (as I do not get much grapefruit and the pine is mild). Mixed with other hops. After a while, the scent changes. Fruitier and sweeter, with caramel (and something else odd). For the taste, I am getting something weird. I am thinking it is the other malts with the Cascades that don’t mix well. On the vegetable side. Thankfully, some light bitterness shows up in the finish to take over. Not really a fan of this one (preferred the Green Flash IPA). Bottle. Cool name, cool picture. Had to get it. Bought a six pack and drank the whole thing, it was a great session IPA. It was very well balanced with its malt and big juicy grapefruit hop flavour. It had just the right amount of bitterness all the way through and no big bitter kick at the end, so you could easily go back for more. hag14 (110) - Hafnarfjörður, ICELAND - MAY 15, 2014

Cloudy Apperance, has a orange peel smell, goes down excellent. Leaves a nice aftertaste, with a bitter tinge.

Bottle. Clear amber pour with creamy offwhite head. Aroma has hints of both sweet malt and hoppy citrus although clearly dominated by the hops. Taste has nice bitterness and is nicely balanced. Ends dry KansaiBeerLvrs (5305) - Kyoto, JAPAN - FEB 8, 2014
Bottle from Asahiya, a cloudy honey gold. Hoppy nose with a pine cone aroma. It is medium bodied, with a minty pine & malty caramel taste, good stuff AgentAle (1807) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 5, 2014
Aroma :citrus, grass and clove aromas
Taste :very over powering bitterness. ...overshadows any malt character
Appearance: semi - cloudy body with frothy head that retains well OntBeerDrinker (514) - Ontario, CANADA - JAN 21, 2014
3 finger head, fades to 1 and leaves a little laceing. Looks kinda like a lager more then an IPA. Smell is pine, citrus, and mabye a little creamy.
Taste pine, citrus, bitterness & a little creamy. Mostly it’s bitter with the hops and I can taste the resin from the hops as well. Cheer’s! lb4lb (2629) - Austin, Texas, USA - JAN 6, 2014
Smell is hoppy and with some pine and resiny scents. Taste is the same. Pretty bitter. Nice strong IPA. solid.
