Great ipa from Philips. A golden copper c. strong grapefruit aroma and taste. A strong bitter taste with light malt background. An enjoyable ipa I know u will enjoy again Tmoney99 (15029) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2013
Draft. Poured a clear light copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus and earthy aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met. minihame2 (758) - Oulu, FINLAND - JUL 13, 2013
Light brown/orange and hazy body with a white head. Aroma is very light but otherwise typical to IPAs, hops mostly. Taste is quite pleasant as the bitterness is not too much. Mouthfeel is light and soft. It’s quite simple IPA but not bad by any means. HipHopOpotamus (232) - Ontario, CANADA - JUN 28, 2013
Not as many hops as you might see in some other West Coast style IPA’s. It is enjoyable. I have had better west coast IPA’s but I think this is pretty decent. brleo (78) - - JUN 23, 2013
Yuck. Offered this by a friend, I decided to sip it a bit in order to review it on here. Aroma is savage - a blast of household cleaner, pine needles, citrus and peppermint pungency clear out anything blocking the sinuses. Flavor is sharply piney and medicinal, with an exceedingly bitter aftertaste that I was only able to wash out with a good dose of the Guinness. Rank.

To be fair, if your an IPA drinker, then I imagine it’s the ticket - not as hoppy as some, but packs a wallop. Go for it if you like this sort of thing.

Rerate - Beer 12 in the Phillips Snowcase Advent Calendar. Not as much fruit on the nose as when I had it on tap, but still crushable and delicious. No change to score.
500mL (Pint**) on draught at MKT on Whyte Avenue (The Ave.). Killer grapefruit, hoppy nose erupting from this foaming amber pour. Sharp hoppy overtones pronounced into a balanced, crisp finish. Fantastic.

Floral houblon. Un peu résineux. Agrume. Pêche. Légère et franche. Bonne IPA rafraichissante.
355 ml. bottle purchased in Ladysmith, B.C. Aroma is pine, resin, floral, hops. Drank from the bottle. Taste is hops, yeast, citrus, and pineapple. Heavy amount of yeast is evident. Nice hoppy bitter aftertaste. Medium carbonation, oily body, and pretty lively mouthfeel. A nice, smooth, sessionable IPA. RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - JUN 12, 2013
Light amber pour. Aroma is grapefruit, some sweetness. Tons of grapefruit flavour, decent malt backing. Maybe a little one dimensional, but not too bad. Freaky_tiki (1365) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2013
Poured this into my glass & for a moment I thought I smelled some wet west coast bud (honestly, we’re not all squares, right? There IS a link between the hop & the hemp). A really good west coast ipa. While I prefer their competition in surrey (red racer is my femme fatale) this is good stuff. Perhaps too bitter. Perhaps not juicy enough. But that skunk weed aftertaste will have you burning all night
