Pours a golden colour with a long-lived white head. The Belgian yeast gives it a little more body and sweetness than a typical IPA, but there’s plenty of hoppiness to offset it. Overall, a very good blend of some Belgian style traits into an IIPA. CRock (249) - Ontario, CANADA - JUL 31, 2014
Bought this because of the label. Had a foamy long lasting white head. Well balanced beer. TheJester (2542) - Cavan Monaghan, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 28, 2014
650 mL bottle - says 7.3%. Absolutely beautiful pour - slightly translucent golden-orange with a fluffy white head that reduces but never disappears, giving each mouthful a bit of bitter head to contrast the sweetness of the liquid. The aroma doesn’t stand out, but the flavour is solid, with a nice balance of the malty sweetness, the yeast, and the hops. Very drinkable. A nice surprise. What a cool beer. Lots of Belgian yeast/dough, some spice, syrupy malt and piney hop bitterness. Taste opens almost like a honey mead; big, pungent yeast, lots of spicy, boozy warmth, and a dry, piney, floral hop finish that subdues the alcohol warmth but lets it linger ever so slightly. Lots going on here, and it’s all very well-balanced. Good tasting beer, and it has a really cool label which greatly affects my opinion of the contents. Randy4Beer (513) - - JUL 18, 2014
650 ml bomber with an awesome label. Pours a clear, filtered golden colour with a big pillowy white head and a fair amount of carbonation. Fruity Belgian yeast wafts across the room as soon as this is opened. Tastes are of pine, yeast, honey, with hints of caramel.
Overall, an interestingly hopped beer, that has above average aromas and flavour. The only real knock I have on it is that huge Belgian head, that resists settling. This one is worth purchasing more than one of.

650mL bomber. Pours surprisingly clear golden with a massive white head that laces incessantly, a really nice looking brew. Lots going on aroma-wise as well, pine and citrus pith hop with yeasty spices, dried fruit and a toasty malt backdrop. Slightly sweet with a bitter finale and traces of alcohol. Creamy and full bodied. I heard Ontario’s recent shipment of BC goods was pretty stale, but this seems above par to me. Nice work, jdobbs (411) - New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 14, 2014
Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A great sweet fruity nose. A rich great flavor: robust bitterness, candied fruit, super sweet oranges, caramel, toast. This is a huge and very drinkable Gerbeer (3749) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 14, 2014
650 ml bottle. Pours gold with full head and lots of carbonation. Aroma of pine, pineapple, toffee and toasted malts. Flavors of green pineapple and resin. Long bitter finish. OK. Freaky_tiki (1242) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 9, 2014
Pours sparkling gold with a plush two finger cap. This is a spicy, yeasty & piney IPA. It’s thick with flavour, most of it good (deep hops & zesty yeast) & some of it not so good (a slight mineral water aftertaste). Shawna takes a sip & says its like licking a deep woods hiking trail. Overall, I really like it. Tasty, refreshing & chewy. As it settles in the glass in turns into a groovy IPA with the Belgian twist. My kind of brew. And absolutely love the label design. 650ml bottle. Pours a clear golden colour with a one finger white head. The nose is up front with the Belgian yeast. Wet concrete, paraffin, lemon zest, light spice. The taste starts with metallic hops, light citrus, mineral notes, spice, and considerable bitterness and leads into more Belgian characteristics, yeast, mineral notes, with lots of spice and wet concrete in the finish. A little sweet under the yeast, and hops, but it’s a good effort.
