Rating #813 - Beer #7 in the Phillips Snowcase - December 8, 2013) Faintly hazy amber/golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Nose is orange peel, coriander, yeast, lemony hops. Mouthfeel crisp, medium alcohol warmth, medium carbonation. Not as much tripel character on the palate as I would have liked, turns out just like a BPA, but is certainly not unpleasant. Light citrus and seriously hopped. Crushable for 8% sethdude (706) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Bomber (pun intended) from Duffman. Pours hazy gold with heavy carbonation and a massive rocky head. Medium lacing. Aroma is unique- big yeasty notes at the front with a hint of burlap or hemp, giving way to a whopper of a floral hop aroma with a bit of nutty malts beneath. Flavor is equally interesting and unique for the style- initial hop fruitiness is present, as is the pine and such- but here comes some Belgian notes- cheese (think cheddar), bitter walnut, wood (maybe cedar?), steamed edamame, and a massive bitter end that slowly fades to grass on the front of the tongue and bitter grapefruit and anise on the back. Impressive and adventurous, I wish more IPAs would step out a bit more like this one. Thanks again, Duff! RumRunner101 (918) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 14, 2013
Light amber pour with white head. Lots of Belgian influence in the nose and body. Aromas of yeast, oranges, white bread. Flavour has spicey yeast notes through the finish along with citrus and a mild bitterness. All in all this is pretty good. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 7, 2013
Pours a hazy orangish copper with a small. All while head that leaves lots of lacing. Aroma of sweet fruity Belgian yeast with some spicy notes, earthy hops, grass and light floral esters round out the aroma. Taste is fruity Belgian yeast, citrus, pepper, spicy earthy hop flavor and and nice rich smooth bitterness on the finish. Great balance of flavors from start to finish. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 25, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear yellow gold body under a great fluffy and billowy white head that had excellent retention. Looks like a dollop of whipped cream on top. The nose is showing plenty of Belgian yeast character under the bright floral and lightly tropical hops. The malt is barely there in the aroma, which I think is good, lets the hops and yeast shine. The flavor is plenty hoppy, juicy tropical and lightly citrusy hops over a light bready pale malt base. Really nice Belgian yeast flavors on the finish with some lingering bitterness. Lighter bodied with a crisp mouthfeel, maybe a touch too much carbonation for me maybe, but not terrible. A little swirling helps blow some of that off. Pretty damn nice beer. I like this brewery.

Bottle - Sweet belgian yeast is the first to assault the senses, followed by some earthy hops in the background. Clear copper with a rich beige head. The belgian yeast is very prominent, with hops adding more bitterness than anything else. Malts are well balanced and overall a good representation of what they were going for. blankboy (7780) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 24, 2013
[Bottle (650ml) shared with mds, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o j&m.] Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with an average size lasting frothy white head. Aroma and flavour are hoppy, yeasty, herbal and fruity along with a touch of alcohol. Moderate bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good. jercraigs (10731) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 18, 2013
UPDATED: AUG 21, 2014 2014-08-15. Lighty hazy pastel yellow body foamy white head. 3++ Aroma of floral grassy hops, light yeast. Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, floral grassy hops are the primary flavour over a dry moderately alcoholic pale malt core. Average plus bodied palate, effervescent carbonation. Much more vibrant hops than last time. 7/4/7/3/16 Bottle from the LCBO, shared at Campground Brewdown pictoman (1180) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 29, 2013
2013-10-10. Hazy bright golden pastel yellow body with a nice white head. Aroma of green hops, mushy peas, grass, and pale malt. The flavour has a similar green herbal character to the hops, modest malt base. Average plus bodied palate, modest carbonation. Showing some age possibly? Just okay. 6/3/6/3/15 Bottle via trade with Ferris.
