4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear light amber with a frothy lasting white head, decent lacing. Powerful hop aroma, floral and citrus nots. Taste: quite hoppy, moderate bitterness, notes: floral, citrus. remains steady with the hops as it warms. Medium body. Finishes with a grassy bitterness. This one is all about the hops; lots of flavour but not overpowering on the bitterness. Definitely a tasty brew!
Light orange pour. Citrus and resin aromas. Taste is quite bitter with citrus and you definitely taste the rye. Pretty good. PorterPounder (7961) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - AUG 14, 2016

Appearance: clear pale to medium gold with one fat finger of creamy white head, excellent retention and moderate lacing. (4/5) Aroma: pithy citrus, pine, caramel malt, rye. (7/10) Taste: moderate sweet, moderate bitter, light peppery spice. (7/10) Medium-light slightly oily body, lively to moderate carbonation, lingering and building bitter finish. (4/5)
A decent interpretation of one of my favourite variants of one of my favourite types. The rye works well with the hop bitterness, adding an extra peppery spice kick, particularly through the finish. Well worth trying. (15/20) cmacklin (1170) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - APR 30, 2016
341ml bottle. Pours a clear orange with a small, frothy, long lasting, off-white head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, peach, pine, caramel malt and rye. Sweet flavour of grapefruit, peach, orange, caramel malt, pine needles, grass and rye with a dry, bitter, resiny hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty good. sulawang (1161) - - JAN 13, 2016
Visual: Pours translucent golden orange without much head, a thin spotty layer of retention, only a few singular very slow steady streams.
Nose: honey-toffee malt, orange citrus undertones. (lvl-7)-pungency
Attack: crisp-thicker mouthfeel, incoming malty
Mid-palate: half-creamy, (MAIN) orange-citrusy hops, sweet barley malt-> (lvl-5)-sweetness
Finish: white peppery rye with bitter melon hopped bitterness dry finish.
Summary: Good interesting incorporation of rye into the IPA. An enjoyable brew of citrus, malt and bitter hops.

It feels like they took their Hop Circle IPA, bottled it and stuck a different label on it. The Hop Circle is freakin’ amazing though, so yeah, this too, is pretty good. Just feel I was scammed a little :/ Very slight different taste on the finish that’s about it. Overall, still a fantastic beer. northropfrye (3593) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - JUN 3, 2015
Light copper body, foamy off white head, some retention, some lacing. Biscuit and resin aroma. Taste is sweet and biscuity, with a touch of bitterness in the finish. Alright beer. a_sully (457) - - MAY 31, 2015

A solid rye ale. Pours a dark golden. Nice lacing. Aromas of rye bread, citrus, and a touch of sour cream and onion chips. Interesting. Nice rye and citrus flavours followed by a nice hop finish. jonas (7571) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - FEB 22, 2015
Bottle. Somewhat cloyingly perfumed hop aroma. Golden, offwhite head. Medium light mellow body. Sweet tropical, not quite as grandmotherly as in the nose, nice in the end, did not taste like a noble gas at all.
