Pours gold with medium head that dissipates quickly. Light aromas of lemons, melons, and sour malts. Flavors of tropical fruit, light pine, and toasted malts. fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 6, 2014

Cloudy blond color with medium sized compact head. Love the smell, back to basics, sweaty hop bag, followed by orange and other citrus fruit peel, and malt. Full bodied yet lean, with strong malt and toffee flavor, moderate sweetness, smacking hopping; strong bitterness and sweet orange peel. In the final there is still that lovely hop bag feeling.
Pours a very hazy golden/orange with a small white ring and good lace. Aroma is sweet tropical fruit, citrus, orange and some residual sweetness. Flavour is zesty citrus, grapefruit, resin, pine, alcohol, strong kinda harsh bitterness and a mild residual sweetness. Interesting beers always coming out of phillips. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 27, 2013
Pours a lightly hazy golden orange with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates and leaves lace. Aroma of citrus, sweet pale malts, pine, resin and tangerine. Taste is citrus hops, pine, caramel and alcohol. Warming and nice bitterness on the finish, this beer is unbalanced for being so big yet it is still enjoyable. Just has noticeable flaws yet makes you want to keep drinking.

Pours a clear, deep amber colour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is of floral hops, slight caramel and toffee scents and citrus fruits. Taste is moderately sweet with a slightly intensifying bitterness. Full body, creamy mouth feel, lively carbonation. Overall a reasonable but unexceptional brew. Bottle, shared with Grippitis. Hazy orange-gold with a compact white head. The entire profile of this beer is similar to the Kalaidescope-- sticky tropical fruit hops run the show, the malts here are thicker and sweeter, with the expected bitter end. A little sweet and heavy to have drank on my own, so thanks for saving my ass again Gripp! Sammy (12610) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 11, 2013
Malty aroma, lots of head and good whisps of lace on light golden body. Fairly smooth body, alcohol residual but otherwise hidden on this DIPA. Certainly better as warms. Decent drinkability.
Thanks for another fun surprise, Duffman. pintbypint (3767) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 4, 2013
650ml brown bottle. Poured carefully into a tulip (some kind of protein haze or snot inhabiting the last cm of the bottle) - bright golden with a thin white head that fades to a lasting ring. No lacing. Nose has big orange peels, grapefruit and some candy sweetness. Taste has zesty citrus/orange peel/tangerine, tropical sweetness, a bit boozy. Finishes with alcohol and grapefruity and tropical hops. Medium bitterness. Overall, kinda torn on this one, quit good chilled, but as it warms the alcohol heat and heaviness overtakes the hops and makes it tough to get down. I feel a bomber is way to big a serving for this beer, split it with three buds at fridge temp and it’s more of a winner. mgermani (1002) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 24, 2013
Pours a crystal-clear pale gold with a large but short-lived head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, medicial, pinepple. Extremely boozy, grapefuit flavour ending with a peppery astringent finish. Crisp body, medium carb. This beer could really stand some aging, but I do like the unapologetic hop bite. Nice!
