Rating #2224 - 2015.12.05 - Bottle #5 in the 2015 Phillips Snowcase- Pours a hazy straw colour with a frothy white head, not much lacing. Aroma is of farmhouse yeast. Clean mouthfeel, medium carbonation, mild alcohol warmth. Lots of estery sweet notes, mild sour note.

Pretty nice. Aromas of pear and bubblegum. A touch of funk maybe. Similar flavours with a tart finish.

Light yellow body. Some white head. Strong sweet bubblegum and pear aroma. Sweet yeasty taste but also kind of artficial and corn tasting. Okay.

sulawang (1217) - - DEC 8, 2015
Visual: Pours clear light golden yellow-orange with barely any head, super thin ringed retention, only a few steady singular streams. Nose: mellow pineapple wheat malt, soapy. (lvl-4)-pungency Attack: crisp, light fizzy CO2 Mid-palate: almost salty, (MAIN) apple juice, plasticky, pineapple/banana, coriander, wheat malt Finish: sweet wheat malt finish. Summary: Flavour and texture are dull and not engaging; It has a very underwhelming and apathetic effect on the palate.

Bottle into tulip glass. Pours a clear golden colour with small white head. Aroma is fruity and spicy from the yeast. Taste is about the same. Carbonation is a bit low.

Part of the 2015 Snowcase. Pours light brown, no head. Floral spice aromas, sweetish lightly malted barley flavours. Its ok, not great. Yet another mediocre snowcase beer.

Bottle from the Snowcase 2015, Advent calendar
Blond color, clean, with small frothy head. The aroma is delicate spicy and fruity; the mouthfeel is off-dry and a bit oily; the flavor is a bit spicy, with some plastic flavor too; dry finish, a bit boozy.
Not too bad, but quite basic.

Bottle - Very sweet and perfumy. Clear gold with almost no head. Sweet and perfumy with candy like notes. Little esters and more sweetness.

341mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is very feint, with floral notes and light Belgian yeast. Flavour is pretty bland, with restrained Belgian yeast and a touch of floral quality upfront. Very bland and lacking character. Inoffensive, but a rather pointless beer. Good job once again, Phillips.

3.2
reebtogi (6488) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2015
341ml bottle (from Phillips Snowcase 2015) pours a clear golden color with a finger of white head that leaves very little lacing behind. Aroma is light lemon with hints of grass and caramel. Taste is a light lemon tartness with a grassy hop bitterness and a light malty sweetness. Light bodied with mild carbonation. This was meant to be opened at a later date, would explain the problems I am having with this beer as it seems to be a little on the green side. Still ok, probably better with a month or so of aging.
