Clear gold colour with thin fast fading white head. Yeasty and tangy pilsen malt nose. Mild grassy malt taste with mild malt finish.

sulawang (1161) - - JAN 14, 2016
Visual: Pours light orange with a smallish dissipating bubbly head, ringed retention, tight clusters of micro streams, suspended sediment. Nose: honey, orange citrus, chamomile barley malt. (lvl-7)-pungency Attack: slick-crisp, incoming honey Mid-palate: (lvl-7)-sweetness, mild citrus tanginess, (MAIN) honey toffee malts, red apple, chamomile Finish: residual sugar, alcohol heaviness Summary: It certainly does have Belgian tripel flavour qualities, though it lacks a bit in length and carry. Still very drinkable.

Rating #1420 - 25.12.2014 - Beer 23 in the 2014 Phillips Snowcase Pours a cloudy golden colour, with a frothy white foam. Aroma is yeasty, spiced with coriander, light citrus. Taste is a little too overcut with the alcohol for my liking - like a Malt Liquor Tripel.

simonblaine (576) - Alberta, CANADA - FEB 12, 2015
Its passable, pours blonde, sweet, mediocre. Aroma of straw, sugars, it’s....Ok. Not offended by it, it’s slightly below the standard to expect from Phillips.

341ml brown bottle, from the 2014 Snowcase. Golden and clear, small ring of white foam on top. Nose has some fruitiness, orange, trace of alcohol, a bit sweet. Taste has yeast, some orangey fruity notes and late alcohol. Finishes drier with yeasty notes. An ok beer.

ljthiessen (1348) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle. Slightly hazy golden orange colour with no head. Light fruit aromas, apple and mandarin orange, pineapple, Belgian yeast. Flavour is almost candy-sweet with fruit and Belgian yeast, not perfectly balanced and some slight off flavours, but not bad. Sits between a Belgian blonde and a tripel. Not sure what all the terrible reviews are about, I thought this was perhaps a little below average for the style.

Bottle into tulip glass. Pours a hazy gold colour. Aroma is tart fruit and spicy yeast. Taste is about the same with a lot of alcohol. I'm not digging this beer. -- rated via 'Find A Beer' for Blackberry 10

Pours a clear golden amber with a small lasting white head and and some good streaks of lace. Aroma is perfumy fruity alcohol blend, and overall just Belgian yeast qualities. Flavour is soft alcohol, perfumey, Belgian yeast and fruity esters all mixed together nicely.

Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 8, 2014
Pours a clear golden orange with with a big frothy white head. Aroma is a nice bouquet of fruits, citrus and banana with some spiciness to it. Taste is spicy with citrus peel, orange and banana with a slight alcohol warmth on the finish... Bit of an out of place bitterness/harshness on the finish but overall a really good triple that’s has good balance and complexity.

reebtogi (6267) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 19, 2012
650ml bottle pours a slightly cloudy pale golden color with a 2 finger white head that settles quickly leaving very little lacing behind. Aroma is yeasty with some light fruits and grains. Taste is big malt and fruity sweetness with some yeast and a mild hoppy finish. Light to medium body with enough carbonation to leave a pleasing sensation on the tongue. Overall, a pretty decent tripel style ale.

maekchu (3906) - Hirakata, JAPAN - APR 16, 2012
Bottle. Sourish, fruity aroma. Cloudy yellow. Buttery, sweet flavors. An aftertaste that disappears at light speed. Mild mouth feel. A very very innocuous tripel. Dull.
