Pour a clear reddish brown with a light brown fluffy head that leaves good lacing up the glass. Aroma of campfire, wood, peat, light chocolate and bread. Taste is peaty, woody, brown sugar, light vanilla and pepper. Finishes nice and dry with a medium low carbonation... Overall a great Rauch that’s well balanced. andrewturba (1190) - Alberta, CANADA - MAR 3, 2014

650ml brown bottle. Reddish brown por, quite a large beige cap, very creamy and sticky foam. Aroma has a bit of chocolate malt and some smoke and wood hints. Taste has wood, smoke, roast. Finishes with some smoke and roast. Overall, a nicely done brew. Alcohol stays in check, smoke notes are nice, but could be stronger. Worth checking out.

650mL bottle, pours a deep dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of light smoke and dry bready malts. Flavour is much smokies than the nose suggests, drowning out whatever else is there - maybe some bready caramel malt. Dry smoky finish with low sweetness. Decent. manisthebeer (246) - squamish, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 18, 2014
nice heavy thick smokey smell pours dark dark brown with a tan head that is lively and brings out even more smokiness scent taste is one hundred percent with just the right levels of smokiness reminds me of the campfire smell your clothes absorb so good also great to cook with reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 10, 2014
650ml bottle pours almost black in color with a finger of light tan head that leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is smoky with some peat and vanilla. Taste is malty sweet with some hop bitterness finishing with some smoke and peppery notes. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. A pretty nice smoked ale that I recommend for others to try.
