Bottle 0,33 l / Craftgallery - Bern (CH). Black beer with a nice brown head forming laces. Roasted aromas of chocolate, licorice, brown bread-pumpernickel, notes of pine and resin. The taste is full, bulky despite the average body, fruity of blueberry, black cherry, yeast and coffee-grounds. The spruce brings citric notes. The beer is dry with a bitter of citrus, spruce-resin braided by roasting. Beautiful set. gormio (75) - FINLAND - NOV 25, 2017

330ml bottle. Pours black, tan head stays. Aroma is roasty, some fruitiness, prunes, hops, coffee (tart). Taste is roasty, bitterish, piney, dark fruits, spruce. Hoppy bitterness in aftertaste. Dry finish. Medium + body, average carbo. Nice brew, well balanced, tasty. Panzerfaust (876) - Hanga Roa, Easter Island, CHILE - NOV 4, 2017
330ml bottle from El Irlandés. Pours an ink black color with a medium beige head that diminishes quickly but laces well. Aroma is hop-driven with resinous, piney hops. Notes of small green limes, some eucalipt seeds and spruce are backed by mild, gentle roastiness. Taste is medium bitter with, again, quite mild sweetness from the roasted malts. Slight fruity flavors can be felt with some roasted bread and traces of coffee. The aftertaste leaves mostly hop, citrusy flavors. Well bodied, but it didn't quite hit the mark in intensity and complexity. Still, enjoyable in its own way. Mpuntmuts (336) - NETHERLANDS - OCT 31, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 31, 2017 For me the perfect apparel, pitch black with a chocolate milkshake head on top. Great smelling experience, the color makes the brain expect coffee notes but is punched in the face by hops. Brilliant!! Pine trees and earthy aromas. Pine, earth, hops and hidden chocolate and coffee for taste with the bitterness perfectly balanced. A sweet and salty black licorice linger to finish it. Thin to medium bodied and medium carbo. Very well executed brew!!!
