The aroma and the taste is rather thin with notes of caramel malt, fruit and hops. Easy to drink with a pleasant dry hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

Cask at Port Street Beet House, 12th October 2011. Lovely light ale good mouth feel. heavy lacing right till the end.

Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JUN 22, 2011
On cask at Cloisters. Light golden ale with a thin white head. Yeasty, caramel nose and flavours with a funky apple cider flavour that lingers. Very dry which I like.

On cask @ Odiham and Greywell Cricket Club, Hampshire. Delightful beer, very pale golden appearance with pleasant citrus overtones and a flavour characterised by a hint of dry hopping in the brew. Definite refreshing qualities and despite being quite light, it is is deceivingly flavourful and full bodied. Very drinkable.

Cask - The Duke of Wellington, Norwich. Dark yellow with a bubbly off-white head & some lacing. Light, toasty, caramel malts & lemony, grassy hop aromas. A drop of strawberry comes through towards the end. Very mild initial toffee flavours up front giving way to earthy malts & leafy, grassy, pithy hops with a mild tang. Some carbonation, mostly soft on a light-medium body with a lingering finish.

Christian (13756) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2009
Slightly hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma of grainy malt, with caramel and green apples. Dry fruity and malty flavour with a bitter finish

Another beer I was lucky enough to have on tap at The Waters Green Tavern in Macclesfield on my stag do. Golden with thin to med white head. Vanilla, obvious hops with a dry bitter finish. I really enjoyed this.

Rune (13186) - Tromsø, NORWAY - AUG 16, 2009
Half, hand pulled from cask at The Castle, Holborn. Shiny, naked surface. Straw-golden coloured body. Discreet floral aroma. Dry hopped fruits in flavour. Smooth bitterness to the ending. Refreshing (London, 03.08.2009).

RichardW (1813) - Carlisle, Cumbria, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2009
Cask, Kings Head, Carlisle. Stunning pale ale. Not as dry as the pumpclip would suggest though. Lovely soft, yeasty, doughy smell permeates throughout. Fruity, hoppy, malty, superb.
