Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear pale golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of lemon, subtle pine needles, some pale malts and slight herbal hops. Taste of lemon, some pale malts, slight grapefruit, orange, a hint of shortbread and subtle herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, slightly bready, citrus hop bitterness in the finish. A simple, citrusy golden ale with a little bready malt and herbal hops. Sessionable.

Cask, Holyake Lights, JDW. During British Open 2014. Orange looks capped with a small white head. Nose had some citrus and grassy hop present as did the sweetish flavour. Smooth and easy drinking. Decent hops. Solid summer session fodder.
