JDW Fest. Hazy pale gold beer, no real head. Very moderate carbonation. Light palate. Satisfying citrus grapefruit and a little orange. Moderate bitterness. Dry finish. Tasty enough.

Cask conditioned handpump Cordwainer Northampton. A very pale beer with a very loose white head. Good grapefruit and lemon citricity throughout. Nicelyhopped. Probably needs more balancing malts and pehaps a bit too jif like but its decent enough.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clear yellow pour with no head. Urine, straw and sharp citrus aroma. Lightly sweet flavor, bit of straw and sugar, great bitter character of citrus, pine and hay. Light bodied ith soft carbonation. Bitter, fairly sticky finish, nicely balanced with lingering hops. Condition could be better but the beer itself is very, very good.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale gold with white head. Malty but a little thin, a little on the yeasty side, grainy, a lightly hopped bitter but with some distinction. Nicely bitter and dry in the close.

Hand pulled at the Last Plantagenet, Leicester. Very pale and smells great. Tastes very hoppy and aggressive on the finish. Really sears the palate. A fat swatch of Nelson on the finish (probably). Nice. Near the top of my Wetherspoons Fest rates.

The Felix Holt, Nuneaton. Brilliant gold with a swirl of foam. Fine, well-wrung old dishcloth dabbed with Fairy Liquid aroma; a squeeze of lychee as it warms- hops aplenty. Simplistic, not especially attractive soapy hop taste heavy on the lemon and lime like a hopped-up JHB. Gram of husky malt. One trick pony.

Cask, William Wygston, Wigston. Pale gold with a white head. Aromas are lemon and apricot with clean, peppery grapefruit. Floral and spicy with some light toasted malts. Flavours are sweet jammy fruit followed by a fair amount of grapefruit bitterness. Dry and peppery on the finish. Has some lager characteristics. Decent.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 6/04/2011. Pale gold in colour with a slight white head. Light, citrus hop aroma with some lemon fruit and dry finish. Good.

Cask handpull at Spoons Lord Moon of the Mall. Clear pale gold lasting thin white head. Ascetic lemon flavour and a bit thin in the mouth too. Bugger all condition does not help. Very aggressive ascetic hop on finish. Oh dear the lack of condition us shocking. Big finishing hop though.
