Cask conditioned at The Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Gold with white head. This proved to be quite a malty beer, cereal notes, grainy with a simple, floral hop note. Fairly basic and just okay really. Nocturne (1992) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - SEP 29, 2016
Cask at JDW. Dark golden shade. White head and lacing. Grassy and waxy hoppy feel. Crisp, fruity and bitter ending. Nothing standout, but a decent quaffer. Towey1989 (2695) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 17, 2016
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of bready malt, grain, slight fruit, a little apricot, a hint of lemon and grapefruit zest, mint and some grassy, floral hops. Taste of bready malt, grain, slight fruit, a little apricot, lemon, a hint of minty freshness and some grassy, floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, grassy, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Bready and grainy malt up front with the sweetness coming through near the end with the bitter finish. A fruity, slightly minty middle. Different and drinkable. minutemat (5395) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2016
