A Mes rate:
Cask at an awful JDW in Wood Green. Rather enjoyed this one. Heavy with citric hops, dust and tobacco. Mango, pear and other tropical fruits abound. Tasty hoppy stuff all the way through. Good beer. SilkTork (5728) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - FEB 4, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 22, 2013 Feb, 2007 JDW, Camden Lock. American hops in a British cask pale ale - a great combination. It usually works, and it does here. There’s a good dusty Englishness in the finish. Quite yummy. [3.4]harrisoni (18436) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - MAR 24, 2006
March, 2013 JDW, Rochester. pale yellowish amber. Pleasant, easy drinking with soft tropical fruit. OK. [3.0]
Cask gravity dispense at Red Lion, Isleworth. Bit of a haze, but golden with very sparse head. US style hops on aroma, citrus and grapefruit. Fine in mouth if a bit watery. Served way too cold. Good hops on end. Lots of grapefruit but not too astringent DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2006
