The usual from Phoenix/Oak. Lovely golden colour. Although malt features in the aroma it’s predominately flowery/hoppy; so much so it may even be dry-hopped. Plenty of hops in the flavour with a nice bitter finish. Medium bodied. Shame it’s not available more often. haddonsman (1234) - Derby, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - JAN 12, 2006
Cask (handpulled) at the Victoria, Beeston. First beer of the day on the Deep Black stag crawl. off-orange with a creamy head, delicate fruits throughout, lots of hops but not offensive. Could have drunk this all day if we didn’t have another 14 places to go... Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - APR 26, 2005

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Golden colour. Grass and butterscoth dominates this light, yet rounded and drinkable ale. It has soft mouthfeel and is strikingly hoppy with lingering bitter finish. A very good thirst quencher. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - FEB 19, 2006

A Mes rate:
Cask at an awful JDW in Wood Green. Rather enjoyed this one. Heavy with citric hops, dust and tobacco. Mango, pear and other tropical fruits abound. Tasty hoppy stuff all the way through. Good beer. jamesie1857 (2112) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2012

Light copper colour. Sweet aroma with candy and strawberries. Thick, lucious texture. Flavour has red fruits and syrup. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 5, 2013
Cask handpull without sparkler, The Felix (JDW), Nuneaton, 05/03/13. Red gold under a slim haloed top. Good fresh mown grass and tangerine aroma. Succulent deep malt sweetness suggesting honeyed crackers overlaid with sappy, thistle-like, floral and orange peel-like hop. Grassy, honeyed and citrus-hinting to the point of (German/Czech) lagerdom. Tasty.
