A Sim rate (Winter Beer Fest): Plum, caramel and chocolate in the aroma with a hit of coffee. It’s like really gourmet coffee beans where the aroma is subtle but amazing. Very bitter mouthfeel with malty coffee finish. Quite yeasty. Too bitter and pungent but quite a nice porter. cgarvieuk (24456) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 20, 2008

Sampled cask conditioned at Akkurat, Stockhlm, Sweden.
Black. Deep roasty aroma with hints of coffee. Near full bodied with chewy maltiness and pleasant warming mouthfeel. Well hopped with salty, really bitter finish. A top notch cask porter!
