Black. Deep roasty aroma with hints of coffee. Near full bodied with chewy maltiness and pleasant warming mouthfeel. Well hopped with salty, really bitter finish. A top notch cask porter!

Cask handpull at The Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Very very deep ruby colour with lasting tan head. Good toasty roasty porter. Some fruit on aroma. some sulphur in mouth. Soft mellow roast malts. Mellow sweet grains. A touch of bitter hops. A very good porter despite there being no jump-out features. Solid.
