Cask conditioned handpump Becketts Bank Leeds 14/07/14. A golden coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A nice fruity beer. Peachy notes are good. malt balances nicely making it an easy drinking tasty beer with a good body. Liked it.

Cask @ The King’s Arms in Salford. Mild fruit hop and taste but very pleasant in this respect. Deep amber with a v small head.

First tasted this at Gabriels, Paisley in July 1999. Cask, handpump dispense. Clear amber red in colour with a thin white head. sweet smell of damp raisins in the short aroma. Thin but creamy mouthfeel and good lacing. Pale malts give a moist maltloaf base with raisins, sultanas and dates. Slight prickle of dusty hops gives a short bitter aftertaste. Finish is sweet and malty with strong biscuity overtones present in the mouth. An ok session bitter.

[email protected] Porter, Borough. Reddish amber colour, creamy mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet fruity hops along with nectar and wood. Flavour is nectar, wood and a lot of fruits in a nice balance. Aftertaste is fruity nectar and the mouth leaves really dry afterwards.

Copper with a small white head. Fruity aroma, blackberry and other berries. Fruity dry flavour, refreshing, and just a perfectly made bitter. I love the berry aroma.

Cask, Market Porter. Copper, thin white head. Nose is hoppy fresh citrus, touch of spice and butter. Mouth is slightly brackish bitterness. One-dimensional. Palate is slightly fruity, slightly dry. Alright.

Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 29, 2004
Pale amber brew with the usual Phoenix rich fruitiness in aroma and flavour. Lots of full maltiness and flowery, sappy, orangey hops then a sweet yet dry and bitter finish. (cask @ Queen’s Arms, Cheetham)

chriso (7583) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 30, 2004
Mid amber colour. Faint aroma. No complexity in the flavours, but clean, crisp and a touch citric, with some malt in the background. A little sweet and soft on the finish. Respectable stuff. Cask (handpump), Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), Whitehall, London SW1.
