Pleasant citrus aroma fails to prepare one for overwhelming astringent sharpness that makes any other details regarding taste and palate difficult to ascertain Mr_Pink_152 (5400) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - SEP 13, 2014
Pint from the Victoria, Lincoln. Pale gold colour, with a thick creamy head. The aroma has citrus, grapefruit. The taste does as well with a slightly sour bitter finish. ManVsBeer (10926) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - AUG 21, 2014

Oct 2011: Hand pulled pint in the excellent Cock Hotel, Wellington, Shropshire.
Orangey pale hue to the amber body, on top a thin white head that refused to leave any lacing and became just a wisp after two sips.
The smells were of semi-sour grapefruits, with some sugar cane esters for good measure.
The taste also had the grapefruit citrusy feel to it, not so much sugar as the smell though: a slightly bitter aftertaste (hops?) took away the sourness of the grapefruit but didn’t detract from the overall flavours enough to ruin the beer in any way.
Different, but not really exciting enough for me to have two.
