Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden with a small white head. Sweet floral aroma with malt and honey. Sharp grapefruit and orange taste with a medium bitter finish. Very enjoyable.

Light copper colour. Floral hop aroma. Some fruity sweetness, a touch of apple. Quite an intense level of hops. Nicely dry.

Cask (gravity) at the Derby CAMRA summer festival 2005. Beer of the festival for me. Chunky orange body, orange rind shines into the aroma, sharp hops and oranges again to the flavour.

Amber with some suspended particles. Short but dense head, which goes quickly. Very perfumed and flowery in the nose. Bit thin, acidic with a very dry end. Decent bitter. Simply citrus in the mouth.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2009 Gravity cask at the London Drinker Beer Festival. Gold with a lively white head. Great beer to start the festival off. Cascade hops in the aroma and taste. Orangy citrus notes and silky hop oils helped this slip down easily. I couldn’t resist a second!

Maybe bottled at the GBBF 2005. Deep amber coloured. Very soft and mild. Bitter fiish. Mild aroma. A nice beer.

Cask at Southampton Beer Festival Orange, some head, slightly hazy. Beautiful aroma of cascade. Taste completely dominated by Cascade hops. Slightly to sweet for a top mark.

Cask, 4.6%. Mild dusty aroma. Almost clear dark golden colour. Nice firm white head. Sweetish fruity flavour, red berries. Very well-balanced. Not like American IPA, but very good.

TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - AUG 6, 2005
Half pint pulled at the Great British Beer Festival, a clear orange with a good full head. A strong hoppy aroma. Some sweetness to nicely offset the strong hoppy flavour. Crisp mouthfeel with a bitter finish.

downender (8584) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 19, 2009
Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms, Bristol (JDW) 19/04/09. Deep gold with a frothy white head. Decent hoppy, aroma with plenty of citrus and orange blossoms and a touch of caramel. Flavour started sweet, with some marmalade, more citrus hops and a very long, dry finish. Very enjoyable.
