A high end strong beer and very popular with customers. Not my type as it is on the sweet side which you do find with many strong ales
Cask. Orangey Amber. Very fruity malty ale. Orange-marmalade. Dried fruits, caramel, nutty. Initially sweet. Dry finish. Nice pint. (2008)

Cask (quarterly ale), 1/2 pint, hand-pulled at Hengler’s Circus, Glasgow on 16 Jul 2016, floral, fruity aroma, golden amber with a thin bubbly off-white head and no lacing, toffee, fruity flavours, viscous, sweet. FCox143 (44) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - OCT 4, 2016
Aroma: mostly malty, slight hops but they are hidden. Appearance: amber in colour with a thin off-white head. Taste: mostly malty again, with sweetness overpowering any hoppy taste. Quite enjoyable, but I like fruitier beers. Theydon_Bois (19200) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2016
Cask at the King and Castle, TTZ, 20/08/16.
Orange amber with a decent off white head.
Nose is Soreen fruit loaf, brown bread, caramel, bitter orange, brown sugars, stewed prunes.
Taste comprises fruit cake, dates, brown sugar, candied fruit peel, toffee, light spice.
Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation, light alcohol strokes in a semi drying close.
Decent cask English Strong, last had this 10+ years ago and this revisit for a rate certainly exceeded my expectations.

Body is medium, smooth, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Taste is apple, white bread, dried fruits and resin. An oily mix of sweet fruits and alcohol. Good. minutemat (5413) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2015
Cask @ Montgomery’s Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy dark amber. Nice caramel nose. Taste is smooth, malt-forward with sweet toffee and rosy dark dark fruits with a good flavoursome strength. Very nice. Towey1989 (2710) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2015
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of toasty malt, caramel, some red berries, subtle butter and orange. Taste is similar of toasty malts, caramel, subtle toffee, some red berries, slight butter and orange. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A soft, sweetish, toasted orange bitterness in the finish. Quite a sweet, malty beer for a 6 percenter. Some citrus flavours but a little buttery, it’s good but not quite great. Parmenion777 (276) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2015
