4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Prolly biassed a bit cause this is most likely my favourite beer label of all time, and because this was the precursor to me getting on the pilsner train these days after the long arduous Russian Imperial Stout Season (poor me). It’s nice to have a 7% Imperial Pilsner kicking around though. If only this were available in Ontario. Thankfully my dad brought a little shipment back from Christmas with grandpa. This could be my perfect summer beer. Hoppy, high ABV, but so freakin refreshing. More refreshing than Pilsner Urquell, which I love, but is by no means as refreshing. Light tasting with full intense flavour, and still decent chewiness for the palate. Aroma: grass, flowers, and honeysuckle salad. WTF?! Hey, whatevs; FEELS GOOD.
Where and how: big east coast trip 2017 – brewpub ekg72 (1) - - JUL 18, 2017 does not count
Aromaslightly creamy, note of diacetyl, malty behind, hops felt muted. Low 5-/10.
Top: medium white cap, very nice lace on glass
Base: cloudy base
Palate : medium bodied with thinner walls, somewhat dry, average finish.
Taste: thinner malt base than one could wish for. Cleaner feel in flavor than what aroma provided. Still slightly silky-buttery notes present, Green bittering hops on top. Despite its flaws it grew on me but still would not call is a good beer.
Belle étiquette et Vraiment surprenante en bouche ! En vacances su'l bord du feu elle est parfaite!

Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma is corn and Pils malt. Flavor sweet malt, corn and floral notes. I .think I detected some abv warmth as well. Slightly foamy for me but a good floral bitter finish. VT (2527) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 14, 2016
500 ml bottle. Pours a clear golden with a resilient white head. Aroma is pils malt, butter, herbs. Flavor is pils malt, butter, cereal. Finish is herbal, light hops. Medium body, soft mouthfeel, average carbonation. Bierdimpfe (640) - Quebec, CANADA - JUL 8, 2016
Slightly hazy golden color with a good amount of activity. Almost creamy white 1 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with some strong legs.
Pleasant floral aroma with biscuity caramel. Flavors of caramel, sweet grains, a little corn, lemon, floral and herbal spices. Bready and slightly grassy. More sweet than sour but still with a nice sharpness creating a good balance.
Smooth almost creamy heavy body with moderate carbonation. Light finish of medium length, ending with crispy grassy noble spices and some sugary citrus/caramel feel.
Overall a good craft offering nice flavors and a great thick body. Passable freshness being a little flat. Accessible being not overly boozy and well spiced. +1 for the pug ;)

500ml bottle. Pours hazy golden/copper, light peripheral bubbly head, some retention and lacing. Grainy nose, grassy hops, touch of toffee? A bit of honey flavour. Crisp. Listigovers (1279) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 23, 2016
Grainy aroma and taste with slight mineral and dryness. Golden, lighter body than the alcohol suggests, good. jksipa (1007) - Newmarket, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2015
Hazy medium amber with a small white head. Nose is toffee with some light floral hops. Medium- sweetness with a well balanced accompanying light bitterness. Medium+ creamy mouth with average carbonation. Alcohol is well integrated. Metalchopz (3474) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 27, 2015
Purchased at NB Liquor on my trip to the east coast. Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with a creamy off-white cap, decent retention and some good lacing. Grainy nose with some caramel, so not too pils-like. The taste is where this comes out with the Euro grass hops. Covers the grain. Not sure about the Impy Pilsner style with the look and aromas, but a good brew nonetheless. yourilevesque (1829) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 11, 2015
