Pours a clear dark red with a nice ig cream off white head that leaves tons of lace. Smell is some caramel and sweet fruit with a hint of roasted malt. Taste is a huge hit of sweet roasted malt up front with a bit of fruit on the finish and a very faint hop presence. Great beer. MarkoR (959) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 14, 2012

Bottle 500 ml HeistAlmighty (1156) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - NOV 27, 2011
Aroma yeasty with sweet sugar, cherry, vanilla with sourness on sides. 5-
Appearance gentle haze on red-copper, hint of brown. Large tanned , rocky top. Sparse lace. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium light bodied. Caramel, hops with sour cherry. Strong astringency found with nail polish like notes. Hint of pepper on top. Poor.
500ml bottle. Not a strong aroma, butterscotch and caramel malt. Poured a dark ruby red with an ample sponge toffee coloured head. Fair amount of lacing. Taste is caramel malt with a little herbal/citrus hop and some earthy bitterness on the finish. Body is creamy, but a little thinner than I’d prefer. Overall, an acceptable example of the style.

[2874-20100521] 500mL bottle. Mild poop and dirty grass aroma. Slightly hazy, dark red brown body with a medium-lasting foamy yellow head. More poop and dirt and grass in the flavour that is mostly grainy. Medium body. Average.
