pours a pale yellow with thin, quickly dissipating head. light carbonation. aromas of flowers and bread. light mouthfeel with lots of yeast and mild hops. finishes with some bitterness. excellent summer thirst-quencher. very similar to their blonde ale with a bit more flowery-hop taste.

Veiled straw color, almost peach. Extra thick and creamy 1 finger head lasting around 5 minutes. Strong legs and good activity. Sweet aromas of toasty butterscotch and fruits. Bitter flavors of citrus, honey, wheat and floral spices. Well intensified and not too sour, but ending with a slight metallic feel. Medium slick body with some perfect carbonation. Strong dry bitter finish, almost puckering and vinous, ending with a long smoky chalky mouth coat. Overall : Inviting pleasant smell, unexpected unique warming flavors, harsh flat end.

Poured from bottle. Flowery aroma. Pours a hazy pale with white head. Has a medium sweet taste. Medium body, oily texture, astringent finish. Not really my type of brew.

Thanks to my friend Nic for bringing this back from his trip at the brewery. Pours a hazy golden colour with a soapy off-white head and good thick foamy lacing. Wheat and honey aromas. Apple taste with a little spices. Not a bad brew, but expecting something different. Wish it was a little stronger all-around.

500ml bottle into an English pint. Pours a hazy straw with a lasting white head and some lacing. Grassy nose; a bit of honey perhaps? Sickly sweet flavour, with a rather unpleasant tang of an aftertaste, sticky on the palate. Light carbonation. Not a fan.

Bottle from the brewery store in Frederickton, shared with the BFD crew. Pours a fairly clear medium golden color with a decent off white head. Aromas of butter and toffee dominate the aroma and flavor. Light burnt caramel flavor. Little to no spice. There’s supposed to be heather in here but honestly there is so much diacetyl in my glass I can’t find much else. Not for me.

A fun, special offering from Picaroon’s. A zazzy, peppy palate make this tart, vinous refreshment a grand ol’ time. It smells of honey, flowers and wheat and the head is light and thin resting on a pale straw-yellow liquid, A nice, different tasting plug.

A lot going on with this beer. Poured a hazy straw with no head. Aroma was of honey, wheat, and floral. Tasted of honey, wheat and somewhat vinous. Mouth feel was very interesting as it flat, but also puckered your mouth. The body was a lot heavier than its colour lets on. Not something I would drink often, but quite interesting indeed.
