Quite a pleasant brew. Pours an extremely clear straw with a white frothy head. Aroma is of grass, cereal, basement and honey. Tastes of big honey sweetness. cereal, grass, and spices. Has a light creamy body and low carbonation with a sweet honey finish. I wouldn’t swim upstream for it, but I would drink it where it is.

Not a bad brew at all, just nothing special. A mostly clear pale golden yellow with some serious chill haze going on. A big creamy white cap that leaves some serious lacing is a nice visual and presents scents of sweet honey, cereal, light hay and grassiness and sweet corn. Taste is mostly the same, it feels like a ramped up Lager, a thicker mouthfeel with a bit of herbal, spicy hopping balancing out a pretty heavy sweetness. It’s a solid, inoffensive brew that I would happily sink a few of.

pours a pale yellow with a thin head. typical Picaroon’s offering. could be just the blonde with less hops? If you have tried other Picaroon’s beers, there is really no need to try this.

Not usually my style but I heard good things. Way over carbed, tasted like beer flavoured pop. Tastes more like a kolsch to me.

(Rating #4559)

Nice and pleasant. Reminds of something else from the brewery which isn’t a bad thing.

500ml bottle. Clear, rich gold colour, moderate white head. Aroma is light fruit, toasted grain and a touch of herbal hops. Taste is pretty much the same with a little sweetness. Body is light, but crisp and refreshing. Overall, it is very drinkable; one of these could go down pretty quick.
