Surprisingly decent brew, with a peppery, hoppy bite (and high carbonation for the style) combining with the usual citrus notes for a somewhat off-style but drinkable "живе вірджін& пиво" (Winchester, May ’11) Drake (13737) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 14, 2011
Served on draft at the brewpub, 1/8/11. Pours a slightly hazy gold color with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet bready malts. The taste is the same with some nuttiness. Water, thin, and pretty tasteless. llcooldave (1217) - San Antonio, Texas, USA - DEC 28, 2008
This brew was really nice... Slight honey and clove in aroma. Sweet citrus and banana flavor. It really works. Overall this is a really good brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 18, 2008
Hazy straw body with white head. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, some wheat. Taste is medium sweet, wheat, some seltzer, faint orange. Light body, some crispness. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 14, 2008
Milky/cloudy yellow colored body, white head, proper appearance. Citrus, dry, sharp piney hops in the nose with heavy dose of lemon juice. Chewy, chunky wheat and lemon tasted, some light funky cheese/yeast notes as well, and some citrus on the back, somewhat sharp... makes me think they put lemon juice in the beer. It’s been done before... but to be honest it wasn’t that bad. Perhaps they got lucky with this one batch and actually brewed something drinkable.

Aroma is light fruit, wheat. Taste is light fruit, wheat, some spices. Not like any other Hefeweizen I have had before, but quite similar to their other ‘offerings’.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2006 Slightly hazy amber colour. Clean and fresh but almost devoid of hefe character. The slice of lemon or orange they offered me with it might have added some citrus notes had I not refused it, to the bemusement of the bar staff. Like all the other Piccadilly beers I tried it was drinkable enough, but short of presence. hopscotch (11101) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 22, 2006
Draft... Hazy, straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Much like their other offerings on this occasion, this one’s aroma is totally nondescript. The flavor is just a touch on the sweet side of balance. Also, lightly tart and tangy with a sliver of lemon peel. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with lively carbonation. Astringent, dry finish.
