Interesting, tasty beer. Poured with a huge, billowy, foamy, frothy, fluffy, textured, off-white head and a little lace. Color os a slightly hazy straw yellow and has loads of bubble trails. Aroma is yeast, musty, earthy, citrus, spice. Flavor is similar to nose plus tang from high effervescence. Body is good and carbonation is great. Finish is like flavor, clean, and tapers from fermented ingredients first, then the carbonic tang over some length. ben4321 (6389) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 20, 2011

Aroma: The nose is a rather interesting combination of lemon, dough, hay, and wormwood
Appearance: The pour is a hazy golden-orange color, fairly large, fluffly white head
Flavor: The taste is rather complex with an interesing mix of sweetness and barnyard
Palate: The body is medium, it has a pretty decent mouthfeel, and barnyard/yeasty finish to it
I enjoy a good meaningless stat, so here’s another one, my 50th Spice/Herb/Vegetable rating! And you thought my stats couldn’t get more useless! This was a really interesting beer. It was really complex, and yet rather enjoyable. The wormwood gives it an almost brett-like feel, which I rather enjoyed. This was some pretty good stuff.
Light yellow body, little hazy, white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat. Noble hops. Flavour is quite delicate belgian blond. Nice hops and sweet aftertaste. Light and floury palate. rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 2, 2011

Cloudy golden colour with tiny white head.
Fruity and grassy hoppy aroma with pineapple and some other exotic fruits.
Bitter fruity flavour with citrus and maybe some spices.
Refreshing and drinkable Ale.
Bottle from Hi Time. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy 3 finger white head that collapses in dimples. Aroma of spicey cooked light fruits. Flavor is reminiscent of absinthe/wormwood, but that’s a long ago memory, so I could be off. It’s astringent. It’s woody. There are uncommon spices and maybe some bergamot. Grabs the attention, and it’s very refreshing.

Then aroma has spices, malt, sugar, yeast, and a touch of paper. The appearance is pale gold with a nice fluffy head. The taste is like the aroma with an herb bread taste up from and a dry hoppy finish. The palate is smooth. Overall this is interesting. italianjohn (3108) - Penndel, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 9, 2011

Tasted at the Triple Rock Sour and Barrel Aged Fest on 2/13/2011. This spiced ale pours a light straw gold color from the bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is floral, fruit and sweet. A medium to light bodied spiced ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, touch of citrus. Hops are herbal and spicy. Nice carbonation. Light and refreshing. Interesting spicing, kind of barnyard and must, herbal and earthy. Nice dry finish. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean, smooth and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a huge white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy and dusty hops as well as some fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, citrusy and dusty hops, spices, and fruit, leading to a dry spicy finish.
