Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is sour wood, some mild sweet malts, mild berryish notes as well as some slight fruityness. Flavour is fruits, sour/tart wood along with some mild earthyness.
Bottle, believe it or not, at the Great British Beer Festival. Go figure. Hazy amber color, thin beige head, solid lacing. Aroma of sour butterscotch. Taste is similar with hefty sourness, medium funk, hi carbonation. Good stuff. madmitch76 (25568) - , Essex, ENGLAND - FEB 10, 2013

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy cream coloured head. Slightly lactose nose. Dry and crispy palate. Fairly sour but not a wince inducer! Nice mixed sour dried fruits. Woody dryness. A little bitterness. Dry finish. Not bad at all!
Bottle shared at GBBF 2011, Day 2. Pours a clearish amber with a faint, filmy head. Sour, funky nose, some berries and grapes. Light to medium sweet flavor with a great, refreshing sour tartness. Notes of fruits and funk. Medium bodied with light, smooth carbonation. Has a clean, tangy finish. Overall a superb beer. chriso (21656) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 2, 2011
From bottle at Great British Beer Festival, day 3, on 4 August 2011. Not sure where this one came from but thanks to whoever for sharing. Amber colour with a slightly murky appearance. Good tart, sour, woody notes in the aroma. Strong sourness on the palate with a sharp. lactic, vinous feel and more musty woody notes. Tart mouthfeel. A new brewery for me and a very promising introduction. There’s some good sour stuff coming from Italy.

At GBBF 2011. Bottle. Cloudy mid brown colour. Lasting thin beige. Wow that is pretty sour beer. Really good woody sourness. Not a huge amount of genuine funk but love the infected nature of it. Touch of sour strawberries. Once got rid of the carbonation it was sour as hell. Beautiful if a touch too woody. Lovely sourness though really good palate refresher. Good
