Cask (handpump) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.
Clear light yellow orange color with a small, virtually none head. Aroma is moderate malty, tropical fruits, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, and a dry finsh. Body is light to medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. (070808)

Cask. A hazy light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of flowers and hops. The body is light. Lovely refreshing.

[email protected] Yellowish golden colour, not much head. Aroma is nectary and wooden with some mild fruityness. Flavour is mild fruits, some wood and a bit saltwatery notes. Creeping bitterness all the way through.

13th March 2008. Hoppy fruity beer with a dry finish. A little more zing than usual for the type.

Cask (gravity dispense) at GBBF, August 2005. A very fine golden ale from a top class brewery that does this style very well. What you don’t get is richness and complexity. What you do get is a burst of fresh fruit and juicy, aromatic hops. Fresh as a daisy, crisp and well defined. Good refreshing bite on the finish and a lingering hoppy aftertaste. A real winner. The epitome of what this style is about.

Cask handpull at London Drinker BF 08. Pale gold, lasting bubbly white head. For me, it has diacetyl on the aroma. OK, after that. Decent citrusy hoppy golden beer, but the diacetyl spoils it for me.

Dull dark straw. Thin head. Slightly appley but otherwise bland aroma, light body and same uneventful, sweetish character.

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen, London. Clear yellow beer with a small head. Malty caramel aroma, bready, citrus, some grapes. Malty fruity flavor, citrus, grapes, hay, some spices. Ok.
