Cask at the Wellington, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is spicy hop, orange citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth, light, tropical citrus, spicy hop palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. redders1974 (1629) - Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - JUL 21, 2015

Cask @ Fox & Goose, Hebden Bridge. Hazy orange-yellow with a small creamy head. Has some citris although it’s fairly solid in its fruity taste with a fair bitterness. jamesie1857 (1980) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 20, 2014
On cask at Kelham Island Tavern, Sheffield - Yellow hazy body, lasting white head. Nose is reminiscent of some IPAs, lots of hoppy citrus in the aroma. Taste is a bittersweet concoction, a little sugary at times, with a good long finish of citrus again. Very nice. tommann (3945) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - MAY 22, 2011
Cask at the Waggon and Horses, Halesowen. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma was sweet malt with some slight notes of tropical fruit hops. Taste had sweet malt to start with a sweet hop finish and some tropical fruit in the aftertaste. Full in the mouth. Tasty stuff.

Cask at White Horse, Hedgerley, Bucks ’Coming of age fest’ last month. Golden coloured ale with small head. Hoppy, floral aroma. Tastes bitter/sweet, citrus, hoppy, bitterness really lingers. Pictish beers are so addictive. Fin (10917) - Merton, Oxfordshire, England, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 31, 2010
Cask, gravity at The White Horse, Hedgerley, 18th ’Coming of Age’ Beer Festival 28-05-10 Pours warm gold, loads of tangerine in the mouth, in fact this is very marmaladey, there is a light hoppy fizzing on the tongue honey and marmalade creeping all around the mouth, nice tanginess with a curly citrus bite. I liked this, but Loz loved it and mostly drank just this on Friday and Saturday until it ran out. This is the landlords (Kevin) favourite beer. Clear medium orange color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to creamy, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask gravity at White Horse, Hedgerley. I had this twice as I liked it so much. Lots of citrus sherberty hop. That’s really really lovely. Could drink that all night. Doesn’t taste of 6% at all. MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 5, 2008
A Mes rate: gravicask at the White Horse, Hedgerley.
Orange yellow colour with a thin white film. Excellent orange and lemon and just all round citric as hell aroma with some superb earthy malt in the background. Huge fruity hoppage in the mouth. Glorious grass and lemon with a restrained but beautiful bitterness. Excellent sweet bready malt backbone. Damn good stuff as always from Pictish, just needs more finishing hops for me.
