CloakedDagger (2864) - - SEP 11, 2017
Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Sweet, clean, malty nose - åperhaps a vague hint of metal. Medium body, again sweet malts - and plenty of them - again a slightly metallic nose before a massive - and somewhat surprising - bitterness sets in. Pretty solid stuff. 110917

Pretty strong but nevertheless very tasty beer with quite bitter aftertaste. Not for admirers of easygoing drinks.

500ml bottle. Aroma of bread, malts, rye, hints of latvian beer aroma. Taste is bready, bready. Gingerbread and flour in aftertaste. Medium body, average carbo. Not a bad lager, well drinkable. One of the first Latvian beer I remember from years back and I liked it back then. Still drinkable.
