Small white head. Clear yellow body with carbonation. Mealy herbal aroma with grassy mealy notes. Dry-sweet herbal grassy taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish, coarseish mouthfeel. Dryish herbal fruity aftertaste with spicy earthy grassy notes. Not bad, but a little boring. (0.3l draft at Citi Laiki, Riga.) Vells (1846) - Rīga, LATVIA - DEC 16, 2012

This one with "Bauskas Gaišais" is one of two LV lagers who is not "typical" in my opinion -loaded with some aroma hops also, not grassy as mayority. Worth attention. omhper (25113) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 5, 2012

"Piebalgas Nef." (5,7%) from keg to PET bottle. Semi clear golden body, medium to small head. Fresh malty aroma with some sharpness. It has a bold malty palate but the alcohol taste is very evident, which makes it not so enjoyable. Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 27, 2012
Draught (5,7% abv Nefiltrets). Clear deep amber color. Small white head, disappears quickly. Malty, yeast in aroma. Sweet, bitter taste. I can feel alcohol in it so its not that great. thearmi (31) - Riga, LATVIA - JUL 3, 2012
A floral aroma with quite a strong feel of sweet malt. Very light, pale in color and quite clear with a minimal head. Rather sweet and a little bit bitter. Quite lively with a pleasant finish. liinis (1770) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 24, 2012
I think this is better people usually say. sweetish nicely round mouthfeel, dark golden clear, white head. simple but tasty kolencs (1) - - JUN 19, 2012 does not count
Although the etiquette of the bottle says its non-pasterized it does not generate that very special taste.
