UPDATED: MAR 25, 2014 Deep copper with white to beige head. Aroma.. not intense malty, light caramel, bit fruity Sweet with sour bitter finish. Sourness is not very pleasant this time. Decent beer, thou sourness even metallic touch in finish spoils the pleasure

phfyysik (1314) - Tartu, ESTONIA - NOV 26, 2016
Pours nut brown with high beige head. Aroma is metallic, malts, caramel, some fruits, light citrus. Taste is creamy, grass, caramel, oily, some metal, toffee, malts. Average beer, but very easy to drink.

The beer looks quite nice. There is a nice layer of white foam. The beer is dark amber ore a little light beer. The beer looks quite nice. The smell is special. It reminds me of sausages. The aroma is kind of savory and porky. It is weird, but nice. This savory smell is the strongest. There isn’t really much else. The taste also has this savory sausage taste. Really funny. There is also a ice bitter hoppyness in the taste. The beer is quite nice. Latvian beer isn’t bad.

0,5l fles bij restaurant kid in riga. Bruin met een crème kraag. Geur en smaak met walnoten honing en caramel, afdronk ook iets van karton.

And here comes my overrate of my favorite brewery in Latvia near close which I spent my childhood. It fits my soul so well in each sip, I was kinda underrating for myself :) The taste - it is simple but its mine.. :)

ectuohy27 (1191) - ESTONIA - OCT 2, 2013
Quality, with a nice layered mouthfeel and slight honey notes with a bit of caramel and malt, but unfortunately weighed down with a nearly sandpaper-sharp hop finish; not enjoyable

visionthing (5414) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - AUG 12, 2013
50cl bottle from Riga Airport. Pours clear mahagoni with a small, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and malt with some roasty and earthy notes and a hint of alcohol. Sweet, caramelly and mild malty with a hint of bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Quite okay, but boring and a bit too much on the sweet side for my taste.

HoppyBudgie (833) - SOLA, NORWAY - JUL 29, 2013
Bottle. Dark amber color with white head. Malty aroma. Sweet malty taste with a hint of smoked malt. A nice beer to sample.

Marduk (7946) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 29, 2013
Tap. Dark brown color. Small off-white head, stays. Honey, sweet, butter, malty and bready aroma. Hops, mild caramel, malty, chocolate and peppermint in flavor. Honey and chocolate in aftertaste. Juicy mouthfeel. Quite nice.
