On tap at the source. This was my first beer of the night. Served in a pint glass.
A: Pours a hazy peach color with a one finger light yellow head forming on the pour. It recedes to a thin film and leaves soapy lace on the sides of the glass.
S: Nice citrus aroma with a mango sweetness, light pine and some mild resinous hops that are balanced by a pale malt body.
T: Floral and citrusy up front. There are nice tropical fruit and pineapple flavors with a light lemon grass and mild hop bitterness as well. The finish is of Hawaiian sweet bread and pale malts.
M: Medium to light bodied with a semi sticky, tongue coating texture. Nice carbonation with a sweet malt finish.
O: Very surprised to find out this is 7.50% ABV. It really doesn’t show at all and drinks like a heavy pale ale. I recommend you try this nicely balanced IPA.

Growler from deyholla in growler swap v$30. Orangish toffee golden with creamy light khaki head. More citrus forward hops, mostly orange with a touch of peach and pineapple. Malt is slightly on the bready side, but nice that it isn’t adding any additional sweetness to the nose. Little bit of pine on the end as well. Really just kind of a balance in the hop flavor, slightly sweet, more on the bitter side actually. Kind of rides between an ipa and a iipa, but decent none the less. kaser (6471) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2012

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich hazy orange amber pour, rich haze, with a frothy whitish head atop, laces ok. Aromas are rich and fruity, mandarin oranges, touches of grapefruit, gentle tropical fruit, touches of bubblegum. Sweetness comes in, giving reminders of Haymarket DIPAs. Initial is medium bodied, offering a moderate healthy bitterness, mellow oranges, and touches of grapefruit, florals. Sweet caramel, pale malts, gentle cotton candy. Middle shows a lot more citrus as I get into it, a healthy dose of grapefruit. Sweetness, firm bitterness combats it. Backend offers more grapefruit, really a rich grapefruit experience, lots of grapefruit juice. A bit sweet in the middle, but the hop profile redeems it somewhat. Not bad, not a top shelf representation of the style though. Kill some sweetness and it gets there. Thorpe429 (5122) - , Illinois, USA - APR 13, 2011

Pours a light copper color with a white head and some good lacing. The nose brings some bright pine hops and a tad bit of pale malt. Taste is slightly resinous and has a bit of backing malt. Nice and bitter with a light to medium body. Drinks well and is a nice offering.

Not as good as Camel Toe, another tried that night. It was an OK IPA, but nothing spectacular. Hops not quite as prevalent as you’d hope. troyc (2869) - Illinois, USA - DEC 21, 2010
[Tap] Pours a deep golden color with a large cap of lasting white head. Heavy citrus and pinecone aroma is noticeable from a distance. Dry and hop forward taste. Grapefruit and light syrupy caramel notes throughout. Slick, oily palate. Hints of alcohol in the finish. Nicely hoppy, but a little out of balance. deyholla (12663) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 18, 2010
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a near clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a nice combination of grapefruit and other citrus notes with a bit of light fruit and grains underneath. Flavor had a similar nice combination of other citrus and grapefruit with a sweet grain backbone.
