Growler from the brewpub, drank within the hour at MNF gathering :)
Poured a deep gold with a decent white head that dissipated to a thin film over the surface and laced just a bit.
Nose is citrus rind, sweet resin and pine with a body of grains to sturdy it. Taste is the same, a great balance of sweet resin, biting pine and tangy, bitter hops- all balanced by the body of grains. A tasty and easy to drink brew.
Tasted on tap at Piece Pizzeria Brewery. It poured a nearly clear golden amber hue with a quickly disapating white head. Sweet orange floral aroma with a turbo hopped taste. Went great with the spinach & garlic pizza. This 7.2%er pleased this hophead. Fratto (2845) - Arlington, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2015
On tap at the brewpub. Orange pour with a big white head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Taste is grapefruit, bitter, and light toast. Good finish. nuplastikk (6453) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 4, 2015
Tap at Piece. Pretty decent APA/IPA. Clean golden malt bill. Kind of a new school hop bill, but not as pronounced as its Chicago peers. Fruity, delicate hops. OK. Damico (3150) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2014
Pours orange honey amber with a creamy white head. Aroma brings sweet malty and hoppy oranges, a subtle blend of the two. Flavor of oranges and zesty malts, lightly sweet on the tongue on a smooth medium body. drsandman (1619) - New York, USA - JUL 19, 2014
On tap at Piece wicker park with duke. Pours a pale yellow amber, mild head. Aroma of bubblegum, hay, mango. Flavor is gooey sweet citra hop, bubble gum & pale bready malt, finishes a little sweet. Med mouthfeel, quite drinkable.

Clear golden yellow, small white head. Melon, bubblegum, fresh hay. Slight bitterness upfront transitioning into more mellow sweetness. Medium long finish, chewy medium body. Nicely done, pretty well balanced.

7/20/2011: Piece Dysfunctionale... Aroma: Smells like TANG! Appearance: Golden orange color, hazy; thin white crown. Flavor: Toffee malt, lots of citrusy hops; moderate bitterness. Palate: Medium-light body; softly, slightly oily. Overall: Delicious bitter! I’m going to have a pint or two... or three...
Draught (6.5% ABV) at Piece in Chicago, IL. Rating #104 for this beer.
UPDATED: APR 5, 2015 Growler pour, thanks Andy! Great brew here, an IPA but not a huge one, very easy to drink. Draft. Golden hazed pour. OK in the smell think in el Dorado. Flavor is more melon with just a hint of earthy caramel malt. Treebs (872) - , Illinois, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Had on tap at Piece. Served in a nonic pint glass.
A: Pours a golden amber color with a pure white head. Some splotches of lace are left behind.
S: Nice balance between light fruit, grass and sweet malts. Definitely on the lighter end though and I really got to dig my nose in there to get anything.
T: Taste is a little richer with some grassy hops, mild bitterness, a little citrus rind and the sweet, malty finish to give it a little balance.
M: Medium to light bodied. Pretty drinkable with nice carbonation level as well.
O: Solid overall. Nicely balanced, but I prefer several other offerings from Piece in the hops category.
Serving type: on-tap
