Draft at piece. Orange pour with frothy white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Citrus pine and dry taste. Awesome beer. Hides the high alcohol well too

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a hazy earthy orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a strong pine note with a bit of grassy hops with backing sweet grains. Flavor starts with grassy hops with a bit of backing resin with some sweet grain that underlies. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - MAR 18, 2012
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy, orange-gold colored body with a finger-width, dense and creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is big floral hops and citrus with a light pine resin and peach. Medium sweet caramel backing with a light bready note. Flavor is similar. Sweeter citrus up front with lots of florals and a light peachy apricot. Some caramel with a medium sweetness, a touch of toffee-bread, and a bit of a doughy feel before some piney hops increase slightly and this finishes dry, moderately bitter, and well balanced with lots of florals, juicy citruses, and a light malt sweetness. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium, clean body and a moderate, slightly creamy carbonation. Overall, a nice, easy drinking IPA with lots of florals and citruses. Nothing crazy special, but enjoyable. NobleSquirrel (3439) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 9, 2012
Draft at Piece. Pours a hazed deep orange- near amber, sticky foam head. Nose is juicy and fresh citrus, apricot, Amarillo? Some light malt notes as well. Clean and very hop forward. On tasting, bitterness is a bit restrained. Mild sweetness and a ton of hop flavor. Pretty easy drinking for its size. Some catty hop notes. Seems almost a bit watery overall but a really nice beer.

Draft on tap at the brewpub (Chicago, IL). Pours a rich glowing yet dulled orange hue, touches of amber, some fire on the edges. Rich and hazy. A good frothy offwhite head sits atop. Laces ok. Aromas are firm yet invitin touches of grapefruit, lemons, and pale malts. Akick of sweetness, firm florals, grass. A bit more tame than the regular IPA. Aroma picks up a touch more as it warms. Initial is sweeter up front, moving quickly into dryness and grapefruit juice. Medium bodied overall, a touch more, with grapefruit juice and oranges, gentle bread, dough, and touches of toffee pick into the fold. Dry up front, hitting, lemons, grass, and florals. A lot of grapefruit juice tang on the tounge. Not bad. Not top shelf. Good flavors.
