Pours a clear brown with a thin off white head. Mild aroma, mainly sweet malt. Flavor basically had some malt in there, but not a whole lot else. I was expecting more spices or something to really stand out from this beer. Very average. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2008
Darkly sweet malt aroma. Woody, toasty, sunflower-seedy, a little caramelized touch. Medium to medium light bodied. Lightly briny, sweet toast finish. Not very complicated, not too bitter. Drinkable and true-to-style. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 5, 2007
on tap from a small sampler glass, clear amber with small white head. nose is grainy with slighty malty notes to it. flavor seems like a bland lager if not for the hint of some maltiness. never as bready as you’d want an oktoberfest brew to be. decent. no major flaws. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 4, 2007
Draft. Clear amber color. Malty, nutty with a clean crisp taste. Silght aftertaste of carmel. Greate with piece’s pizza! Jokes (1453) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 17, 2005
Clear, amber body with a thick, white head. Nutty, slightly sweet malt aroma with caramel, whole grain goodness. Just, clean malty goodness. The hop character is fairly mild for Piece, but crisp and refreshing. The body is round and full, without being thick and sticky. The carbonation is soft and mellow. If the beer were thinner, it would need to heavier to carry the flavors. The balance of clean, sweet malt and crisp, mild bitterness is great. The is one of the better beers I’ve had from Piece, it has character and rocks pretty well in the style.

Daught. Pours a murky deep copper hue with some head and little lacing. Bread yeast and malty nose. Good balanced malty flavor with a good clean finish. JoeM500 (1908) - Crown Point, Indiana, USA - NOV 1, 2004
OKTOBERFIST! Copper orange color with generous white head. Toasty malty nose with a creamy body full of caramel and followed by a toasty dryness. Excellent interpretation. Perfect with mushroom pizza~!
