Draft pour on tap at the North Avenue brewery (Chicago, IL). Pours a pale golden straw hue, gentle glow and haziness meet a soapy whitish head atop. A mellow layer sticks around and laces ok. Aromas show a bit of earthy bitterness, florals, some gentle citrus meet more of noble hop appeal. Grainy malts, bready and mellow bitter and dry appeal. Initial is lighter bodied, grainy and dry with a decent bitterness into the back. Cleaner, a bit cereal and bready in the middle with a decent bitterness contrast into the back and finish. Simple yet enjoyable. MrTipple (7282) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2016
Light citrus fruits, lemon, grain and cereal malts. Clear gold, small, creamy, white head. Light sweet. Bitterness coming up, floral hops, bitter and dry finish, grapefruit, medium bodied, lively carbonation. Actually a decent Lager, nice malty flavours. Keg at brewpub, Chicago.
