I believe they were actually calling this a Belgian "single," but tripel is the category that fits closest here with what I actually tasted.
A: Bright yellow with a good white head and pretty decent lacing.
S: Pale malt with plenty of Belgian yeast; banana and bubblegum.
T: Similar to the nose. The bubblegum is definitely present, as well as some banana and a bit of spiciness.
M: Pretty creamy with low carbonation. Fairly light-bodied.
D: Very drinkable. Nice and refreshing. Hope they keep this throughout the warmer months.
Serving type: on-tap

Tap at the brewpub. Pale, corn yellow color. The aroma shows fairly light coriander, parsley. Only the slightest kiss of citric acid. Husky, raw flavor, rice. Hard to lock down specifics, which is one of the things I look for in the style. Nice and sessionable without being too loud. Nice beer in a far underrepresented style. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - OCT 20, 2009

Golden in color, hazy with a thin head. Nice easy drinking Belgian ale. These guys did a great job brewing this.
Typical belgium style beer. They all seem to taste the same. Pours light yellow almost cream in color. Smells fruity and hat is one at piece

Growler from the brewpub. Poured a hazy golden color. The head was white and left some lace on the glass. Smelled of clove, cereal grain, and subdued lemon. There was also a dash of salt. Light bodied and delicately sweet. I tasted clove, a bit of banana, and hints of yeasty bread dough and citrus. Great sessioner. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 12, 2010

On tap at the brewpub. Pours slightly cloudy pale yellow with a modest white head and a floral aroma. There is a pretty good pale malt flavor with a little banana ester and spice. Good, but a little watery. burg326 (5482) - Florida, USA - AUG 6, 2012
On draft at brewery, poured a light golden color, aromas of light fruit, sweetness, and some light spice. Flavors follow suuit, light and very sessionable, the light fruit is pleasent.
