Big plastic bottle from some grocery store in Brugge. Enjoyed this puppy on the sandy shores of Oostend. I wasn't sure what to expect, but this was a little better than I feared. It's basically beer soda. Rather sweet and carbonated, probably needs that to not be too watery. It tastes like sugary, caramelly malt with some faint hop balance. I've had worse beers and worse sodas, for that matter. I'm not sure I'd reach for this again though.

0.33 l bottle from 'Delhaize' (Rocourt), best before August 2018. Clear, very dark red with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, brown sugar and nuts. Quite sweet, malty taste of burnt sugar, caramel, cola, some raisins and a touch of nuts, followed by a short, minimally bitter finish. Thin body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay!

Pours hazy brown with no head. The weak aroma contains some yeast, caramel, roasted malt and, strangely, Coca-Cola. It tastes medium sweet, like soda, with no bitterness to speak of, only a vague hint of yeast in the background. Thin texture, soft to flat carbonation. It is what it is.

(Piedboeuf Brune) Bottle 750ml with a plastic cup, served into a shaker. ABV 1.1% Deep mahogany brown colour on the body, one finger of light beige, frothy head on top, with low retention. Sweet aroma of caramel and sugars, faint toffee. Taste is very sweet, just caramel and sugars. Thin, watery body, low carbonation. Nothing special.

Bottle, 33cL. Home. A dark brown garnet beer with a medium beige foamy head ; ok retention. Cereal, syrup, light roast. Medium sugary sweet, dry bitter note refreshing. Light body, thin texture, a bit sticky, soft carbonation, short sweet syrupy finish. Overall, a poor light brown beer ; sugary ; very drinkable.

Calisky (3059) - ALSACE, FRANCE - APR 14, 2016
Couleur brune caramel, très légère mousse. Nez leger.. Gout malté caramel (genre guiness malta), très rapide et aqueux. Mais pas désagréable, surtout pour une "bière de table" a 1.1%. Et bonne carbonation

jaghana (6283) - Strasbourg (Alsace), FRANCE - APR 14, 2016
Bottle 33cl, kindly shared by Calisky. A dark amber beer with small copper head, nose is very low, on caramel. Aroma is on caramel, sugar, very near to a german malzgetrink, barley sugar, quite carbonated, better than expected, easy drinkable not that boring.
