Cidre Bouché Brut, 4%.Travlr (26431) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 26, 2014
From the Wein & Co at the SC Seiersberg, shared with heavy
Poured a lovely misty full yellow body initially with a head tinged with yellow that obviously disappeared almost immediately and pierced with carbonation. Sweet gluey taste, slightly acidic, fresh appley fruity, lovely. Unexpectedly and lovely sweet appley gluey taste, bit corky. Very nice, drinkable stuff. A sweet Brut, can’t imagine what the Doux is like.
Bottle. Hazy golden color, champagne head. Aroma of dry and musty apple slices. Taste is slightly tart apple skins and flesh. Nice. DuffMan (10773) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 26, 2016
Bottle, cider tasting with the HBB crew. Lightly hazy gold, lively head that fades quickly. Aroma is funky, basement mustiness, rind of Brie, underlying apples. Big funk up front, lots of musty cork, lightly medicinal, with apples and honey. Very dry finish, light. I liked this, but the sweetness seemed a little clashy with the funk. 0.75 l corked bottle from last trip to Graz with Marko. It poured hazy yellow body with medium iszed head. Sourish riped apple aroma, corky. Sweetish flavor, real apples, bit stale, wood, cork, comes to tart palate. Quite rich in body, quite sweet for a brut, having long finish with only a bit of sourness. Very nice thing, one of the better ciders I’ve had for sure.

75cl bottle. Pours a misty gold, small white head. Floral apple fruit aroma. Taste is generally clean with a fleeting fuzzy texture.. distinct perfumed notes aligned with a moderately sweet character. It’s decent, but the perfumed element is a bit off-putting for me to try again. yespr (48954) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - FEB 23, 2011
75 cL bottle. Pours cloudy orange with with a small white head. Aroma is dry apple and slight sulphorish. Crisp apple fruity and slight sulphorish. Light dry and crisp apple fruity finish. BuckNaked (1230) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - JUN 14, 2006
750ml bottle, corked & caged: Pours to a goldenrod-light golden, totally clear body with a very small, instantly dying white fizzy head. It seems to be highly carbonated, almost champagne-like when you pour it into the glass. The aroma is a light crabapple, mildly sour apple skins, with some nice earthy apples and hints of aged barrel, along with just barely a hint of orange blossom (sniff hard). Very crisp, lightly sweet and sour nose. The taste is sweet apple skins, fairly acidic, with some fruity wooden barrel, fresh ripe apple, hints of lemon, orange, honey, melon, and very hidden fruity yeast. Light bodied, very spritzer-like carbonation, leads to a very crisp and resfreshing palate. Unfortunately I don’t notice any sediment in the bottle, and it seems unusually clear for a French cider, so it seems that this one is highly filtered and not bottle conditioned - both of which really take away from what a great cider can be. It’s still refreshing and a nice change of pace. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - NOV 4, 2006
(750ml bottle) Clear apple juice body with quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is medium sweet, apple, wood. Taste is medium sweet, apple, light wood, nominal brandy. Light body, some crispness. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - MAR 2, 2010
Bottle at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Clear. golden. Aroma of green apples, barnyard and manure notes and a bit of wood. Sourish flavor with green apples, some wood, earthy notes and a bit of sweetness in the background. Mouthfeel is a bit fizzy. Nice aroma, OK flavor.
