Bottle with cork 0,75ltr: Clear brown coloured brew with an subtle nutty taste, an Corsican speciality. Hints of caramel and fine bitter aftertaste. Nice mediterrean Christmas brew.

mansquito (7127) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JAN 28, 2013
Whole Foods, Bowery sampling (as Pietra Winter, but it seems to be the same beer, especially because of all the references to chestnuts): Pours an amber color with white head. Aroma is slightly floral, with some roasted malts. Body is pretty light. Taste is kind of minimal. I get a bit of chestnut, as some other people opined, but not too much. I’ve brewed beer with chestnut myself before and it is hard to get the taste into it.

Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - DEC 30, 2012
0.75l bottle from saveur-bière. Clear amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty base, very smooth, some aromatic hops in the finish leaving no bitter traces. Good.

from Amstein - clear and bright ruby-brown beer with a little foam left; gently earthy with some notes of chestnuts and red fruits marmalade; a good malt backbone and slightly oily; clean palate; low bitterness and a long chestnutty and earthy finish - pleasant

Draft @ Delirium, Brussels.
