from Amstein - clear and bright ruby-brown beer with a little foam left; gently earthy with some notes of chestnuts and red fruits marmalade; a good malt backbone and slightly oily; clean palate; low bitterness and a long chestnutty and earthy finish - pleasant prawlie (1702) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 20, 2016
Bottle. Sweet, tasty and subtle. Doesn’t have much of an aroma. Went down easily. Voivod (304) - Como, ITALY - FEB 23, 2003
Deep amber colour. This beer pours a good creamy head, slowly diminishing, but quite persistent. Hazelnut, apricot and alcohol in the aroma. The taste is moderately sweet with traces of caramel, spices and peach. The aftertaste is quite bitter and alcoholic, with traces of chestnut (typical for this brewery, even if much lighter than the normal Pietra beer) and almonds. Interesting beer, just like all the products of this brewery! BrewBoxer (2667) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 25, 2011
Draft @ blind tiger. Pours a deep amber brown. No head. Smells of malt , toffee and candy, tastes of cream, coal and sugar. Not much going on here. Not a fan

0.75l bottle from saveur-bière. Clear amber colour, mid-sized off-white head. Malty base, very smooth, some aromatic hops in the finish leaving no bitter traces. Good. Calisky (3150) - ALSACE, FRANCE - NOV 13, 2014
Bricks (1160) - Delaware, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Super dark amber with great head. Aroma is super sweet cherry-ish hay malt. Tastes like a Bohemian Pilsener with some cherry sweetness. Very smooth. jrodooo5 (1748) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - JUN 14, 2015
Pours chestnut brown w/ a tan head that leaves a ring of lacing. The aroma is kind of sweet & malfy. The taste is malfy & relatively clean. It has a decent mouthfeel & does a good job of hiding the 7%. Overall it’s a nice brew but nothing to write home about!
