August 2017 - Cask handpull at GBBF 2017, Kensington Olympia. As 'Pig & Porter Pale Series EXP431 Pattern Recognition'. Hazy yellow, still with a small foamy off-white head. Aroma is biscuity, some lemongrass. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is lemongrass and pale biscuit, gummy sweets, quenching sugars with a raspy finish. Good. (6-4-7-4-14=3.5)

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish. Mild dry floral mid. Enlivening pineapple and citrus. Some orange in there. Light semi dry finish. A little off the beaten golden track and all the better for it!

Cask at the Euston Tap, West Lodge, 31/08/17. Clear golden blonde with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, pale malts, lemon rind, orange squash, toasted bread. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, lemon rind, grains, apricot. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent mellow hopped golde.

Sweet citrus fruits, lemon, orange, sweet grain and bread. Slightly hazy gold, tiny, frothy, white head. Light bitter. More bittersweet citrus fruits, grain malts, flat carbonation, medium bodied. Nice Golden Ale, well-balanced. Cask at GBBF17, Kensington Olympia.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 14th May 2017. Gold with lasting off-white lacing foam. Rich and intense hop aroma. Splendid fruitiness and citrus hops in-mouth. A savoury touch. Light to medium bodied with a zingy mouthfeel. Absolutely exquisite!
