Learninbeer (713) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - MAR 9, 2018The aroma is French Toast; maple, cinnamon and vanilla. Pours dark brown with tan head mostly diminishing and good lacing. deyholla (12944) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 25, 2018Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of maple with vanilla, dark grains, roasted malt and cinnamon supporting. Flavor is full of maple with vanilla, dark grains and a bit of roasted malts underlying.
JStax (7522) - Devola/Marietta, Ohio, USA - AUG 24, 2017Can from flandersned. Thanks! The beer is a near black with a grey head that dissipates quickly. It was barely there to begin with. The aroma has huge maple, cinnamon, and roasty coffee notes. French toast is an apt descriptor, because that is what it reminds me a good deal of. Sweet syrup goodness, with a roasty backbone to sustain it and keep it interesting. Bigger body, but I think the syrup actually thins it out a bit. Medium carbonation. Really enjoyed this one.
Homer321 (5281) - Melboring, Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2017Can fromtge ClownMan! Aroma is huge in maple. Moderate cinnamon. Pitch black. Small tannhead. Taste is moderate bitter for such a sweet nose. Modest cinnamon. Some alcohol. Decent but not mind blowing.

drfabulous (9228) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - APR 29, 201712 ounce can shared at Todd’s. Dark in the pour with a ton of maple syrup throughout and a little bit of cinnamon.
AirForceHops (8422) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - APR 20, 201712 oz. can thanks to Willrunforbeer. Aroma
is awesome. Maple syrup, vanilla bean, pancake batter, chocolate.
I wish the flavor lived up to the aroma. This stout is overly sweet. Maple, vanilla and sugar is over the top. Totally unbalanced with a thin body. It is like maple dumped into a stout and made the body thin. It is almost like drinking Maple syrup right from the bottle. Sorry just being honest. Going against the grain on this one.
Chalumeaux (2007) - Middleton, Massachusetts, USA - APR 20, 2017Poured from can thanks Willrunforbeer nice cola color good lacing thin cocoa head. Aromas of maple syrup malt coffee and vanilla. Taste is overly sweet maple vanilla and there is a lingering roasty bitterness. If this were barrel aged it might balance out the sweetness.
