COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We also call this the “Morning After Stout,” because it’s a perfect way to ease the pain on the morning after a night of celebrating. By combining our 1762 Russian Imperial Stout with maple syrup and cinnamon, we created a beer that is both bold and comforting, with a flavor that unmistakably reminds us of your mom’s french toast.

Can shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of beige foam. Big french toast forward nose with maple syrup and whopper aromas. Palate has the same flavors as the aromas but some roasty coffee notes and medium bitterness. Lingering french toast and coffee notes. Viscous body.

The aroma is French Toast; maple, cinnamon and vanilla. Pours dark brown with tan head mostly diminishing and good lacing. The taste is a medium bitter/sweet. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation lively and the finish long. Very Good!

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is full of maple with vanilla, dark grains, roasted malt and cinnamon supporting. Flavor is full of maple with vanilla, dark grains and a bit of roasted malts underlying.

Can from flandersned. Thanks! The beer is a near black with a grey head that dissipates quickly. It was barely there to begin with. The aroma has huge maple, cinnamon, and roasty coffee notes. French toast is an apt descriptor, because that is what it reminds me a good deal of. Sweet syrup goodness, with a roasty backbone to sustain it and keep it interesting. Bigger body, but I think the syrup actually thins it out a bit. Medium carbonation. Really enjoyed this one.

Can fromtge ClownMan! Aroma is huge in maple. Moderate cinnamon. Pitch black. Small tannhead. Taste is moderate bitter for such a sweet nose. Modest cinnamon. Some alcohol. Decent but not mind blowing.

12 oz. can thanks to Willrunforbeer. Aroma is awesome. Maple syrup, vanilla bean, pancake batter, chocolate.

I wish the flavor lived up to the aroma. This stout is overly sweet. Maple, vanilla and sugar is over the top. Totally unbalanced with a thin body. It is like maple dumped into a stout and made the body thin. It is almost like drinking Maple syrup right from the bottle. Sorry just being honest. Going against the grain on this one.

Poured from can thanks Willrunforbeer nice cola color good lacing thin cocoa head. Aromas of maple syrup malt coffee and vanilla. Taste is overly sweet maple vanilla and there is a lingering roasty bitterness. If this were barrel aged it might balance out the sweetness.
