Sampled at the brewery, Mosaic hops version. Light hoppy aroma with some carbonic gaseousness. Spicy and herbal. Medium golden clear with white head. Medium body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with a lot of hop flavor, spicy, herbal. Mild malt sweetness. Big hoppy bitter finish with lingering bitter after. A little harsh. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle: Thanks, Mike. Slightly murky amber-copper with a head that fades to a super-thin collar quickly. Aroma of dry pine & some dripping tropical fruits; pineapple, mango, & juicy peach. Light perfume, florals, & a good finish of hop oil. Taste is slightly leafy, ashy, herbal. A touch perfume-y. Little bits of grapefruit peel, orange zest, a touch of moderately dank earthy notes. A pretty dry, spicy hop finish. A nice IPA overall, expected a little more dankness but this was pretty solid. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - AUG 10, 2014

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate-heavy dank grapefruit it a touch of tropical fruit. It pours a mostly transparent amber with just a touch of haze. It’s has a small off-white head that quickly fades to a thin soapy ring. The flavor starts with a quick dose of citrus and sweer tropical fruits. The finish has light-moderate grapefruit and faint dank notes. It’s light-medium bodied with mild carbonation.
Draft at Rezervoir Lounge - pours a medium gold . Pine aroma . Taste is mild citrus and pine . Ok but wouldn't order a second .

Draft sample. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate balanced citrus hop aroma. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus bittersweet flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This beer exceeded my expectations. umich03jm (3512) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Sampled at 2013 MBG Summer Festival. I didn’t take notes on this so it’s from memory. It was my favorite IPA I sampled that day so I really wanted to rate. Awesome citrus and tropical fruit aroma and taste. Nice malt backbone with a touch of caramel. I remember a very nice sweet/bitter balance with a good oily mouthfeel. A great IPA. Would like to head to the brewery sometime to sample some more from them. njager246 (699) - grand rapids, Michigan, USA - MAR 10, 2013

Love this stuff. Bright and hoppy, strong citrus hit, slight hint of juniper, well balanced, with a inviting finish. My favorite summer IPA at the moment. esjaygee (3902) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 10, 2012
On tap at Hudsonville Winery/Pike 51 Brewpub as an unnamed IPA (named Kush IPA the next day). Hazy amber with a medium foamy off-white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, malt and light floral and piney hops. Taste is a blend of citrus and floral hops with some light woodsy hops and balanced out by a decent amount of caramel. Semi-vegetal with above average bitterness.
